Channel of Blessings
Channel of Blessings .org is a source of information on what Christians are doing in Thailand and around South East Asia to help others in need and to pass on the Good News of our Lord Christ Jesus.
We ask for your prayers for those in need and for those who are
doing God's work here in Thailand and neighboring countries. We will
let you know where there is a need such as funds or volunteers
and direct you to their web site or address so you can contact them
directly.
For weekly updates on what is going on at the House of Praise International Church in Chiangmai, Thailand, our orphan projects and missions around asia please visit our Latest News and Information page.
If you are planning to visit Thailand we recommend that you take a look at All Thailand Experiences. The company is owned by Christians and much of their profit goes to feed the children at our Haven Project orphanage home.

There are hundreds of small churches, children’s homes, orphanages, women’s shelters and rehabilitation centers through out South East Asia. Volunteers manage many facilities with support from their local church in their home country. Some volunteers receive no support at all but help just because they feel God is calling them to do something for those in need.
Working for God in countries such as Myanmar (Burma), China, Laos and Vietnam can be very dangerous. Churches and orphanages in some of these countries are underground with services and homeless children living in basements in people’s homes. Orphanages are outlawed in some countries, as the governments do not want the general public and other governments to know that they have an orphan problem.
In some countries Police or the army take the homeless children off the streets, never to be seen again. Only God knows what happens to them. Some are used for slave labor to work in mines or as concubines for the army. Missionaries are being arrested, deported and blacklisted from these countries so they can never visit again. We cannot tell you which countries these are but I am sure you have a good idea.
Every day missionaries are in these countries reaching people for Christ. They are putting their life in danger to find out the needs of the poor and homeless. For many of these missionaries their home base is in Thailand where the government welcomes them. We thank God for Thailand and the Royal King and his family for letting Christians live, worship and help those in need freely.
